Jim Barfield
Jim Barfield (James T. Barfield, III) has practiced law in Georgia since 1973.
The main office is located 20 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on U.S.
Highway 29 in Palmetto, near Atlanta, in Fulton County. The office is the oldest
comercial building in Fulton County, circa 1831. Jim purchased this historic building
in 1993 because of its key location near six county courthouses and three
federal courthouses in the Atlanta Metropolitan area.
Jim's practice consists mainly of criminal defense, serious injury/wrongful death,
and probate. Jim has previously served as Associated Judge for Fulton County
Juvenile Court.
Jim's other interests include his family; wife Beverly, son Jim, and daughter Jenna.
Jim has five grandchildren. Additionallly, Jim's passion is music. He is a published
folksinger and songwriter who occassionally performs at bar functions, seminars,
conventions and private gatherings. In addition to the above practice areas
Jim is a member of the Sports and Entertainment Bar Section.
